A one-person software bureau. I design, build, ship, and keep applications running — the whole cycle, from idea to store.

SkiShift

com.skishift.assistant

An assistant for a door-to-slope service that moves ski equipment and luggage from your flat to the mountain. Built from nothing: business logic, interface, architecture, release pipeline.

Lookout Messenger

com.ss24h.lookoutmessenger

Messaging over the Lookout inter-satellite system, using Lookout beacons as transmitters. Sends, stores, and searches messages, and reconnects to the beacon in the background when the link drops.

Log

Ten years of observations

2024 — ongoing

Yandex

Mobile developer · Kinopoisk Sport

  • Rebuilt the sports section on Android TV: a wizard that learns your favourite team, a match centre, a channel guide, and dynamic filters for leagues and tournaments.
  • Solved problems specific to television — focus in deep layouts, live-updating screens, several data streams feeding one view.
  • Grew the sports player on TV and mobile: a sports skin over KinopoiskPlayer, a timeline you can actually scrub, and a large refactor of the player logic.
  • Shipped DeepDive, live match statistics inside the player — line-ups, leaders, and events during KHL and football broadcasts. Carried it from MVP through post-release iterations.
  • Worked the full cycle in a large monorepo: 25+ development tasks and 300+ tickets in two years.

Innotech

Android developer · Banking

  • Kept the client side of a multi-module banking application available for an audience in the millions.
  • Built screens to a design system, and custom views where the design system ran out.
  • Maintained a library of banner views and integrated it into the app's busiest modules.
  • Adapted the application for people with low vision.

EPAM Systems

Software engineer

  • Designed application architecture and refactored for performance.
  • Introduced safe storage and rotation of JWT tokens.
  • Bridged a web service and an external device over Bluetooth and HTTPS, with certificate verification.
  • Mentored a junior engineer.

2019 — 2020 11 mo

SkiShift

Senior developer

  • Built the service from scratch — business logic, design, architecture, and every line of the Android client.
  • Set up GitLab CI/CD, held the team to GitFlow, wrote the release notes, published to Google Play, and answered the reviews.

2017 — 2019 1 yr 10 mo

Soft Engineering

Senior developer

  • Wrote Lookout Messenger for Android from scratch, including background monitoring and beacon reconnection.
  • Built both halves of the Lookout web service, billing included — Vue.js on the front, .NET Core behind it.
  • Set up automated testing across the system.

2015 — 2017 2 yr

AM Telecom

Junior software engineer

  • Wrote firmware for PIC microcontrollers and designed the circuits it ran on.
  • Built a semi-automatic test utility that recognised which device was plugged in and offered the right checks — hardware keys, audio inputs, microphones, speakers.

Practice

Idea to store, alone

As lead developer I have carried applications through every stage on my own. In Play Console that means all of the following, on the same day, for the same build.

Design
Interface, interaction, and the paths a person takes through the app.
Development
The whole codebase — logic, screens, integrations.
Testing
Verifying behaviour before release; finding the bugs and closing them.
Build
Tuning builds for speed and for a smaller APK and AAB.
Release
Release notes, deployment, staged rollout, and every Google Play review.
Store listing
Screenshots, icons, copy, versions, internal and closed and open testing tracks.
Reach
Promotion and ASO, so the app can be found by the people it was made for.
Analytics
Watching how the app is used, and deciding what to build next from it.

Record

BSc, Mechatronics and Robotics — Tula State University, 2016. Cybernetics.

I try to leave the space around me better than I found it, and myself with it. I take the opportunities worth taking and keep looking for what is new. I know what someone else's time is worth, and I know what it means to give your word.
